Why Second Life?
At 70-80%% remaining capacity, a battery no longer meets the requirements for electromobility – range and performance are no longer sufficient. However, these cells are perfectly suited for stationary home storage: energy density and high short-term power are not relevant here.
Each battery cell undergoes rigorous testing and is equipped with the specially developed system for second-life batteries. Modular Battery Management System (BMS) monitored to ensure that safety and performance are always guaranteed.

Are used electric car batteries really safe?
Yes. Each battery cell undergoes a multi-stage inspection and testing process before being integrated into a modular system. The proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) continuously monitors the status, temperature, and performance of each individual cell. All storage systems exclusively use LiFePO4 (LFP) cells – the safest lithium-ion chemistry on the market.
When did the memory pay for itself?
The payback period depends on your electricity consumption, your PV system, and the selected financing model. Typically, a battery storage system pays for itself in 8–12 years. With our BaaS or EaaS models, you benefit from day one – with no initial investment.
Do I have electricity when the public grid fails?
Optional, yes. With a backup power inverter, your modual storage will automatically switch on in case of a power outage and continue to supply your home. The backup power function can be added during configuration.
Can I expand the storage later?
Yes. Thanks to the modular design, you can add additional modules at any time – from 11.5 kWh up to the MWh range. The expansion is plug-and-play, without altering your existing system.
